About me

Hi there, I'm Ryan! I am an empathetic Product Designer with a foundation in Computer Science and over 5 years of experience transforming complex challenges into intuitive, user-centered digital products.

I specialize in the end-to-end design process, from initial research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and design system implementation. Currently, I work in the medical advertising field at Area23 (IPG Health).

Design Philosophy and Approach

Informed by my Computer Science background at Fordham University, I view successful product design at the intersection of user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.

I lead an iterative process, from user studies to prototyping, that emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with development and product teams to ensure designs meet accessibility standards and product requirements quickly and efficiently.

Life Outside of the Screen

I love to travel and I’m fluent in Korean and Japanese, currently learning Spanish, and have traveled to places like South Korea, Mexico, Colombia, London, and Italy.

When I’m not at my computer, I stay active and centered through running, skiing, and yoga. Originally from Long Island, I now reside in New York City, where I love exploring the city's dynamic food scene and discovering new restaurants and cafes.
